Mental Health and Wellbeing
The Student Voice at Harbour Vale enables staff to gain further insight into the type of support students feel they need for their mental health and wellbeing. We have staff and student mental health ambassadors as well as a mental health first aider who champion positive mental health for all at Harbour Vale.
At Harbour Vale there are a range of opportunities for our students to participate in activities that are beneficial for their mental health and wellbeing. Our Enrichment Curriculum continues to change and expand to accommodate the requests of students, including face painting techniques; creating gifts and delivering to local residents as random acts of kindness, creative careers, being a DJ, gardening, gym sessions, tennis, badminton, words that count and oracy, nail art, yoga, media and film, baking, football coaching.
