PSHE: #EndPeriodPoverty
As part of our PHSE programme and along with the National Schools Partnership, we have registered for the Always & Tampax ‘About You’ puberty education initiative, #EndPeriodPoverty which provides free sanitary products to girls most in need.
The programme comprises curriculum linked, tailored lesson content for 11-12 and 13-14 year-olds covering topics such as giving consent and social media.
In addition, the Always & Tampax sample packs* include the following:
- Free sanitary pads & information leaflet for 11-12 year-old girls
- Free tampons** and information leaflet for 13-14 year-old girls
- Parent/carer information leaflet for each girl to take home
