Face Coverings Guidance, November 2020

As you will be aware schools and education settings will remain open during the new restrictions from today until 2nd December.  There is an expectation that your child attends school and attendance procedures will be followed in all instances.

Yesterday schools received further guidance on how to remain open safely during the new covid restrictions.

The new guidance states that when your child is in school they will be expected to wear a face covering/mask upon entry to the school, and when moving around the communal areas. In classes, and when sitting down for lunch, masks can be removed.

Mask/face coverings should be clean every day, if you are struggling with this, please let us know and we will be able to provide a face covering for your child.

The covid behavioural contract for students will continue and if at any point we feel that your child is having difficulty social distancing or adhering to these rules they will be requested to learn from home.

If your child or any member of your household is deemed extremely clinically vulnerable can you please get in touch with the school office so that individual risk assessments can take place.
